When Insurance Cuts Corners, Customer Safety Suffers

Insurance companies routinely deny payment for procedures that are essential to your customers' safety. Sound familiar?

OEM parts and procedures icon
OEM Procedures Not Paid

Insurance refuses to pay for manufacturer-required procedures critical to restoring the vehicle's structural integrity and crash protection.

Aftermarket parts warning icon
Used or Aftermarket Parts

Your customer's vehicle came with OEM parts for a reason. Used alternatives may not provide the same fit, finish, or safety performance.

Labor rates icon
Low Labor Rates

Proper repairs require trained technicians. When insurance won't pay fair labor rates, shops can't afford to do the job right.

ADAS calibration icon
No ADAS Calibrations

Modern vehicles rely on ADAS for collision avoidance and emergency braking. Skipping calibrations can leave safety systems malfunctioning.

Research time icon
No OEM Research Time

Every vehicle has specific repair requirements. Without time to research these procedures, technicians can't ensure proper restoration.

Supplement Denials

Endless supplements cause delays, frustration, and expenses to the body shop and insured. Vehicles should not leave with unrepaired issues.

Right to Appraisal (RTA) for Repair Disputes

What is the Right to Appraisal? The Right to Appraisal (RTA), also called the Appraisal Clause, is a provision in most auto insurance policies that allows policyholders to dispute insurance company repair estimates. When a body shop and insurance company disagree on repair costs, the customer can invoke their Right to Appraisal to have an independent licensed appraiser determine the fair amount owed for collision repairs.

1

About Umpires: In less than 1% of cases, an umpire is needed. Umpire fees are paid directly to the umpire and split between the insured and insurance company (typically ~$300 per side). Most insurers settle during negotiation because they know when they're underpaying.
